Where cinema was born. Where it reinvents itself.

SHAIKE Film Festival brings together two families that seem to oppose each other: those reinventing creation with artificial intelligence, and those carrying the heritage of traditional cinema. Our role is not to decide, but to create the space where both can coexist, learn from each other and shape a new visual language. AI opens possibilities; cinema upholds the craft. SHAIKE makes both come alive.

01

The Venue

La Ciotat and the Eden, the oldest cinema in the world. This is where Louis Lumière shot his train in 1895.

02

The competition

All techniques compete, same criteria, one jury. No separate category: a great film is a great film.

03

The manifest

The SHAIKE Index, our transparency standard on the tools used. For audiences, professionals and institutions.

The community

400 filmmakers.
60 countries.
One cinema.

LOVE LETTERS TO CINEMA

Powered by Dreamina AI

Love Letters to Cinema — A SHAIKE Original Series powered by Dreamina AI

On October 3rd, 2026, 100 filmmakers from 30+ countries gather in La Ciotat.

The challenge: in a single day, each filmmaker creates a short episode with Dreamina AI's latest tools. A personal love letter to cinema, in their own style.

100 episodes. One series. Made in 24 hours.

"The biggest tribute to cinema ever attempted."

Jeremy Angelier, Festival Director and SHAIKE Founder

Premiering this fall, only on SHAIKE.
